Welcome to our backyard

This isn’t a pub beer garden.

The BBQ Garden is our outdoor home for King Valley BBQ — a relaxed Glenrowan garden where food comes off the smoker and fire, drinks are cold and the tables are made for settling in.

Under the gums and festoon lights, we bring together the things we make ourselves with the produce, drinks and flavours of North East Victoria. Some nights are casual. Some are celebrations. Some involve a lot of smoke.

Come for a Friday night in season, book the garden for your own celebration, or join us for one of our special feasts.

What happens here

A garden made to be used.

Friday Nights

When the season is right, we fire up the garden on Friday nights. BBQ, drinks, relaxed tables and the sort of evening that doesn’t need much of a plan.

Private Functions

Birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, work gatherings and celebrations. We can build the food and service around the way you want to use the garden.

Special Feasts

Christmas Day, themed BBQs, whisky nights and one-off menus. Our special events are where the smokers, fire and garden get to show off.

In season

Friday nights in the garden.

Friday nights are deliberately uncomplicated: turn up, find a table, grab something from the BBQ and settle in under the lights.

The menu changes with what we feel like cooking and what’s good at the time — smoked meats, wings, burgers, fire-cooked specials, garden sides and the occasional experiment.

Friday nights are seasonal, so check our socials or current notices before making a special trip.

Make it yours

Private events & functions.

The garden works beautifully for celebrations that want to feel relaxed rather than formal. We can cater for intimate gatherings or take over the garden for your group.

Food can range from roaming bites and BBQ platters to a full live-fire feast. Tell us what you’re planning and we’ll work out what fits.
